We gather to attend games, host watch parties, give back to our local communities, and more—all while having an inclusive, welcoming space where all fans can connect and celebrate women's basketball together.

START A NEW CITY CHAPTER
Chapters are led by at least a commissioner and assistant or two co-commissioners. These individuals organize events around women’s basketball for their city. They stay connected and attend commissioner calls with other City Chapters and the WBB Club Worldwide network for support, sharing ideas, and announcements.

What is the WBB Club?The WBB Club is a social group for all levels of fanship for women's basketball. There are local city chapters, lead and started by fans as well as a global overarching chapter we like to call WBB Club Worldwide. Through this network, fans can connect locally with other fans online and in person to celebrate women's basketball and watch together. We also like to connect and support our local communities through partnerships, fundraising, and community service.

Are there costs involved with being in the WBB Club?There are no costs to be involved with the WBB Club Worldwide or the WBB Club City Chapters. Some chapters may offer an optional membership fee and provide members with certain perks. This can act as a way for the city chapters to raise money to operate. Any fees that city chapters charge should always be optional.

How do I contact an already existing city chapter?Visit our Find A Chapter Page, filter through the different active chapters to find that one you would like to contact. The commissioner's contact information is on their city chapter page.

How many chapters are there?As of May, 2025 there are 12 active chapters across the United States. New Chapters can pop up whenever there is a set of fans that are motivated to organize for their community to bring together women's basketball fans, they fill out a thorough application, and join the WBB Club network!

Is the WBB Club affiliated with any leagues?As of May, 2025 we are not formally affiliated with any leagues. Do we hope to one day? Yes! We would love to partner with women's basketball leagues to continue to elevate the game and bring together long-time fans, new fans, and fans that don't even know they're going to be a fan of women's basketball!

How do I start a city chapter?Before visiting our New City Chapter Application we would like to give you a little insight on what it takes to be a WBB Club City Commissioner. It is recommended to have 2 co-commissioners rather than one person running the city chapter. You need to find at least one business willing to put game sound on for games/watch parties/events (whatever you'd like to call your social gatherings). Not only excitement for WBB, but also an excitement to organize people. Yes, this is a women's basketball fan group, but it evolves into something really special. Being open to ALL fans, but we also don't put up with nonsense or disrespect. We offer a safe, and welcoming space for all fans to enjoy and connect around WBB. City Commissioners meet monthly and sometimes bi-monthly to support one another, share ideas and resources, and connect out communities.
